An advanced – solar drying plant was implemented at BEPZ for supporting core-business units by accepting and managing textile wastewater sludge in the safest manner. Solar dryer sustainably reduces the entrapped water content using solar radiation energy. This remote sensing - greenhouse based solar dryer reduces 1,600 tons of wet waste down to 550 tons of dry sludge per annum.
